2024 - Adio year in review

Adio has achieved a great deal this year alongside our clients. We thought it might be interesting to provide an update on our progress, growth, and the value we've delivered throughout 2024.

‍Staffing

• Welcomed Vicky Xi: Vicky joined our eDiscovery team this year, bringing extensive expertise in databases and machine learning. Her focus has been on data operations and enhancing the accuracy of generative AI solutions.
• Further staffing: We plan to welcome another project manager in 2025 to support our growing operations.‍

Services

• Everlaw AI Assistant: All Everlaw projects can now access the Everlaw AI Assistant, which helps summarise documents, tag issues, and assist with written analysis.
• AI-Generated Document Descriptions: We now offer AI-generated document descriptions to all clients at no additional charge when we use our US servers, making it easier to move away from relying solely on file metadata for searching and listing.
• Expanded Collections Services: We've added mobile phone device extraction to complement our corporate collection offerings.
• Microsoft 365 Workflows: We have enhanced workflows for extracting emails, Teams conversations, OneDrive, and other file types into Everlaw-compatible formats.
• Enhanced Hyperlinking with Linkd: Our Everlaw hyperlinking solution, Linkd, now supports a wider range of references, including Aconex IDs.

Business

• Growth: Our hosting volumes grew by 300% (many terabytes) and revenue increased by 400%.
• Generative AI Innovation: As a tier-5 OpenAI GPT user, we’ve used generative AI to describe hundreds of thousands of documents (via Listd), analyse documents, and extract financial data to streamline manual tasks for legal teams.
• Linkd: We've hyperlinked hundreds of affidavits and reports within Everlaw across eDiscovery and eTrial databases.
• Knowledge Sharing: We delivered 12 CPD sessions to law firms and educational institutions, with our most recent presentation on Generative AI in litigation receiving a perfect 5/5 rating. Attendee feedback included: "Great presentation with useful information.”; “Excellent. I learnt a lot from his presentation.”; and “Interesting, informative.”
• Security Excellence: We maintained ISO27001:2022 certification, successfully passed multiple security audits for top-tier law firms and ASX-listed companies and we are on track for certification renewal in early 2025.
